New Information For Iowa

Minnesota has changed its reciprocity.
Minnesota no longer recognizes the Utah permit.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but since Utah can issue a permit to someone under 21, and since they don't require live-fire, Minnesota DPS will no longer honor a Utah permit.  Since it also doesn't honor Arizona, Iowa, or Florida, that means about the only way for Iowa residents to carry in Minnesota is to get a MN non-resident permit.

My Permit to Carry class will qualify you for the MN permit, and you can then turn in an application to any MN county sheriff's office.  The class costs $75, and takes about 5 hours.  The Sheriff will most likely charge $100 for the new permit.

I hold my classes in Wells, MN.  Its close to the Iowa border, just west of Albert Lea.  If you have a large group and somewhere to do the live-fire, I could come to you.
